Who enforces the rights of the people when the government itself is breaking the law? It must always be the people themselves, organized correctly.

The laws the government must follow are written in the constitutions that created each state and this nation.

Committees of safety are assemblies of the people that represent the constitutional viewpoint of the people to other bodies of government.

The purpose of the people assembling in committees is to create strictly non-partisan, organized bodies that can represent the constitutionally protected rights of all the people.

We can provide mentorship for you to start your own local committee, to speak for the constitution in your local area.

Right of Assembly and Petition

Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Life, Liberty, Property

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

Right to Commerce (Private or Public)

Your right to your business and to engage in commerce is one of the innumerable rights guaranteed in the bill of rights and under the constitutional prohibitions of government interfering with private contracts.

The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

The Utah state constitution also declares that a free market system will govern the state of Utah, which protects you from government interference and unfair competition by others that accept government favors.

The Law of the Land

The Law of the Land in Utah is the United States and Utah Constitutions. Government must lead the way in obeying the law first. Not only does this set a moral precedent for residents, but it also makes the laws the legislature passes legal. Laws made outside the authority of the constitution are illegal and can be constitutionally challenged or nullified by anyone.


To maintain the highest professional standards of community representation, the Utah Central Committee for Protecting Rights is accredited by the American Committees Association.

Become a registered volunteer member, stand for the rule of law under the Constitution with your fellow Utahns

We represent all Utahns by default, but registered volunteer members are in a stronger position having registered their intentions to defend others rights, and having access to the tools we provide as a service to the community. Registered volunteer members become helpful resources in promoting the mission of defending rights for all Utahns.

Purpose of membership:

  • Be a modern minute man: Receive text alerts for constitutional, non-partisan, action items
  • Email Notifications of state-level action items we're working on
  • Be notified of when a committee is organized in your area and how to work with them
  • Use our tools to help you organize your own committee
  • Constitutionally based law mentoriship
  • Choose to help collect and report grievances that you think we should keep a record of.
  • Membership Types: Individual, or local civic committee
